Sources
Our source priority is fixed: (1) Japanese government bodies — the Immigration Services Agency, MHLW, MOFA, the National Tax Agency, the Pension Service, e-Gov; (2) official public organizations such as JASSO, JETRO and municipal governments; (3) industry associations, universities and research institutes; (4) large commercial platforms, used only as market reference, never as a substitute for official rules.
Review cycle
Every page shows a last reviewed date. Review frequency follows risk:
| Risk | Content | Cycle |
|---|---|---|
| High | Visas, permanent residency, labor law, taxes, social insurance | Every 3 months |
| Medium | Salaries, rent, city costs, school fees | Every 6 months |
| Low | Resumes, interview etiquette, general life tips | Every 12 months |
Numbers and ranges
Where official statistics do not exist (for example, market salary ranges), we publish clearly-labeled indicative ranges from public survey data and say so on the page. We do not invent success rates, guarantees or rankings.
Translations
Facts, figures, sources and review dates are maintained once and shared by all seven language versions. Translations are localized, not machine-dumped; each page shows its translation status internally and key Japanese system names are kept alongside translations so readers can verify official documents.
